Brought class claim against Chrysler motor company for placing illegal conditions on its obligations to honor its 7/70 warranties. Although the case was not successful, as a business practice Chrysler no longer requires that consumers pay transfer fees in order to acquire the remainder of the original warranties. Haas v.
